Of Bamboo's and Concrete

For these two-storey townhouses in Pasig, contrasting materials were used to create a monolithic yet welcoming facade. The coarseness of the concrete is softened by Chinese bamboo judiciously planted along the exterior. The lack of windows provide privacy to the users, but strips of skylights on the roof prevent the interiors from being completely closed off, at the same time allowing sunlight in.
